My interest in jewelry design began many years ago, when I would disassemble and reassemble purchased jewelry to create an original, one of a kind, piece. In 2002 the design process expanded. I purchased jewelry wire, a variety of tools and gemstone beads to take my creativity to a new level!
I've always had the creative side going...drawing, painting, ballet, martial arts, body building and choreographing routines for myself and friends. And now it was time for another art to enter into my life.
As I began wearing my creations, I received compliments and requests to make and sell my jewelry. My passion for design has evolved and I find myself in a constant state of learning new techniques to create that unique, one-of-a-kind design. I pride myself on attention to detail!
In December 2008, I left my 21 year corporate career in Retail Sales & Consumer Marketing Management to pursue my dream to become an artist full time. As you browse Designer Linx Jewelry & Accessories – from the casual to the dress up occasion styles – I hope you find something that is just right for you!

Joanne Safron - Photos from 1993 Another aspect of my life includes fitness and nutrition. I began this journey in 1976 while taking ballet classes. After three years of ballet, I transitioned into martial arts. I trained in Tae Kwon Do from 1979-1983 and competed in region 5 for three years. In the December 1983 issue of Karate Illustrated, I was ranked #3 in Women's Fighting. The November 1983 issue of St. Louis Magazine published a feature article "Beyond Self-Defense" in which I was featured. My martial arts journey took a turn after I competed in the 1983 Central US Karate Championships in which I took first place in Women's Black/Brown Belt Kata and 1st Place Women's Kumite.

Now let's talk nutrition and making health and fitness a lifestyle! I have read numerous books, participated in studies and have been fortunate to have attended seminars expanding my knowledge in the health and fitness arena. As they say, "You Are What You Eat". If you want to feel great, you must eat healthy - it's the fuel for the body, which contributes in many ways to our outlook on life and our overall health. This becomes particularly meaningful as you approach mid-life.
Continue to expand your knowledge and stay motivated to improve your health and nutrition no matter what!
